Both our mineral flats and fold up specimen boxes are made from acid free paper.
Our flats are sold in full cases of 50 sets. Each case will have 50 tops and 50 bottoms. Mixed sizes are not available.
Our fold up boxes are sold in 100 piece bundles or in full cases of a single size. A full case will fill 100 flats. (For example, a full case of 54’s has 5,400 pieces [5400/54 = 100] but a full case of 6’s only has 600 pieces [600/6 = 100].)
A visual reference is easier for some people. If the PDF’s attached below are printed on 8.5 x 11″ paper with 100% scaling (“actual size”), you can see approximate dimensions for our fold up boxes.
Customers should estimate the number of flats they intend to prepare, especially for our smaller sizes. Our fold ups are named after the number of boxes that fill a flat. While three bundles of 54’s (300 pieces) will only fill 5.56 flats, three bundles of 24’s (300 pieces) will make 12.5 instead. (Please be aware that one bundle of 54’s will only fill one flat completely.)
